Why change: The multiplicity of government ministries leads to a waste of funds from the state budget and prevents investment for long-term purposes such as education, healthcare, vital infrastructure, and state security. What needs to be changed: Limit the number of government ministries at the Basic Law level. Do not allow any coalition to increase the number of government ministries without an absolute majority vote. Goal of the change: Investment in long-term programs such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and security. Prevention of "political bribery" that has led to short-term legislation and funding for separate sectors.
