The forging of the marriage covenant in Israel.
Current situation: In Israel, it is not possible to get married if the couple belongs to a different religion.
For example: A Christian cannot marry a Jewish woman or a person with no religion.
In addition to this, marriages conducted solely according to the Law of Moses and Israel require an additional legal procedure – recognition of testimony by the Rabbinate, which requires time and money.
Anyone who does not belong to religious law is forced to seek an alternative arrangement abroad.
Furthermore, there is a considerable difference between the laws of different religions and civil laws.
Enact a new law defining a uniform marriage dissolution process for all Israeli citizens without exception

- + Uniform legislation regardless of religion, gender or sector,
- + Preventing the discrimination of a significant portion of the country's citizens,
- + Regulating the marriage process in Israel for every citizen,
- + Equal rights.
- − Preserving the status quo, which attaches paramount importance to the issue of marriage solely according to religion
